OWNER, CHIEF ACCOUNTING DIRECTOR
Jenniffer M. Gisclair brings 30 years of accounting and financial management experience serving both corporate and nonprofit organizations. She earned her Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting with a minor in Management from University of Houston–Downtown.
Her corporate accounting background includes work with organizations such as Centre Leasing & Management, PwC, Tishman Speyer, PM Realty Group, Howard Hughes Holdings Inc. and KB Emmitt Consulting, LLC. Since 2017, she expanded her portfolio to include nonprofit accounting, grant support, and database integrity management for organizations including HAAM, FamilyTime Crisis and Counseling Center, and Target Hunger.
Jenniffer also supports her community through volunteer financial leadership, including service with Girl Scouts of San Jacinto Council as a Financial Specialist and on the Audit Committee for the Lake Houston Ladies Club. Jenniffer currently serves on the board of Krewe of Thalasar as Treasurer.
When she’s not working with clients, Jenniffer enjoys life in Kingwood with her husband of 16 years and their beloved dog, Nola Brownie.

CORPORATE ACCOUNTING ASSISTANT
Melissa Y. Martinez brings a strong blend of corporate accounting, administrative, education development and community service experience to Gisclair Bookkeepers. Her background includes six years with PwC, working closely with partners and managers supporting accounts payables, client account administration, and financial operations. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with a minor in Human Nutrition and Food from University of Houston.
Since 2013, Melissa has worked full-time in education while continuing her involvement in the accounting field. She joined Gisclair Bookkeepers in 2021 as a part-time Corporate Accounting Assistant, supporting the firm with payroll, expense reporting, accounts payables, financial statement preparation, and administrative support. Her attention to detail, reliability, and commitment to accuracy help ensure smooth and efficient operations for both the firm and its clients.
Outside of work, Melissa works seasonally with the Houston Zoo during their Camp Zoofari program and is deeply involved in animal rescue and community service initiatives. She has spent almost two decades supporting dog rescue organizations, fostering animals, and participating in local outreach and volunteer efforts focused on helping both animals and people.

CLIENT ACCOUNTING ASSISTANT

CLIENT DATA ENTRY ASSISTANT
Melissa Wagner brings over 20 years of experience in administration, operations, purchasing, and customer service support across a variety of industries. Melissa held positions in purchasing, operations, and administrative support with organizations including DeShazo Crane Company, Grand & Benedicts, Richards Electronics, and Jenkins Brick Company. She also served in leadership roles within community organizations, including National Charity League. Melissa holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from The University of Alabama at Birmingham.
Melissa joined Gisclair Bookkeepers in 2023 as a Client Data Entry Assistant, where she supports the firm with client file auditing, data entry, research, and administrative support services. Her reliability, adaptability, and strong problem-solving skills help ensure accurate and efficient support for both the firm and its clients.
Outside of work, Melissa remains active in her community through school involvement, volunteer service, and leadership roles supporting families, students, and nonprofit organizations.

OPERATIONS INTERN
Ben M. Mayorga joined Gisclair Bookkeepers as a summer intern in 2024 and returned in 2026 to continue developing his professional and operational skills. A 2025 graduate of Kingwood High School, he is currently attending LeTourneau University where he is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
In addition to his academic studies, Ben is a pitcher for the LeTourneau University baseball team. He previously served as pitcher for the Kingwood High School baseball team, helping lead this program to a Texas State Champion 6A Division II State Championship during his senior year. Through athletics and academics, he has developed strong discipline, teamwork, and leadership skills that he brings to his work at Gisclair Bookkeepers.
